Healers Mala

A mala is a set of beads commonly used by Hindus and Buddhists for keeping count while reciting, chanting, or mentally repeating a mantra or the name or names of a deity. They are sacred and beautiful and can be worn as a necklace or wrapped around your wrist multiple times. Malas are made with 108 beads and a guru bead. They can be made with fewer beads, such as 18, 27, or 54, which would require the user to make several rotations to complete their full meditation. The number 108 has spiritual significance as it is believed that we have 108 lines of energy in our bodies which converge to form the anahata, or the heart chakra.

This mala is made with 6mm Mookaite Jasper beads, along with a Tiger Iron guru bead and a deep blush silky tassel. Mookaite is also called Australian Jasper and is a powerful healing stone that helps provide stability to one's perspective of life, helping you make the right decisions based on objective knowledge. Tiger Iron is a stone made with Tiger Eye, Hematite, and Red Jasper. It is a great stone for those who are in the healing profession due to its grounding and balancing energy and can help you overcome mental, physical, and emotional exhaustion. The mala is strung on nylon thread and hand-knotted between each bead.

***Each mala is made by hand and due to the nature of using natural materials, yours will look slightly different than the one pictured. Rest assured that I will create a mala that is just as gorgeous and original to you.***
